Morris Ray Cain, 78 years old of La Porte, IN, died Saturday, January 23, 2010 in Settler's House

He was born September 20, 1931 in Francesville, Indiana, Son of the late Martin Ray Cain and the late Martha Marie Waymier.

He was a member of American Legion and served in the US Army during the Korean War, also a member of La Porte Missionary Church

He worked as a Set Up Man in Core Department for Modine Manufacturing.
He married Dec. 19, 1951 in Enterprise, AL. to Betty Paschal who preceded him in death Dec. 20, 2009
Surviving are his Daughter & Son-in-Law, Virginia (Thomas) Maksyan of La Porte, IN, Son, Edward Cain of La Porte, IN, 8 Grandchildren, Shari, Jesse, Martha, Benjamin, Michael, Ashley, James, & Joseph. 7 Great Grandchildren, Half Brother, Raymond Page, .

He was preceded in death by Parents; 1 daughter - Brenda Sue Melton; 2 brothers - Ralph and Homer Cain; 1 half brother - Gene Page ; 2 sisters - Illa Quayzar and Marge Virginia Steel. .

Friends will be received at the at the Cutler Funeral Home, from 3-7:00 PM Wednesday and 10-11:00 AM Thursday. With a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM Thursday Jan. 28, 2010, with Rev. Carl Galloway and burial in Rolling Prairie Cemetery. There will be full military honors at the cemetery
