Arthur was the son of the late Homer C. and Edna C. (Stone) Rose.
He taught Math and Coached various sports for 38 years; Merrillville High School, Lowell High School, New Prairie High School and LaPorte School System. He also worked for White Advertising for two years and had an accounting business from 1969 - 2007.
Arthur Graduated from Nightstown High School, He served in the US Army Airborne. Arthur earned a Master's Degree at Indiana State Teachers College.
There will be no visitation for Mr. Arthur R. Rose.
A private family service was held with Rev. Steve Laue officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery
