Beverly Ann Stewart

Beverly Ann Stewart, 75, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026, at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Beverly was born on February 28, 1951, in La Porte, IN, to Jesse James and Della Mae (Atkins) McIntosh.

On December 12, 1998, she married Harold Stewart, who survives. Also surviving are her 3 children, Melissa Fiscus of La Porte, Jason (Heather Burch) Cox of Knox, and Rick Cox of Mt. Home, AR; grandchildren, Myles, Tyler, Julia, Lydia, Amelia, Hayden, Cody, and Mackenzie; great-grandchildren, Brennan and Daxton; sister, Kay Wright of Paragould, AR; brothers, James McIntosh of Kingsford Heights, David McIntosh of Kingsford Heights, and Robert McIntosh of Koontz Lake; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Birdie "Sis" Elder and Norma Jean Houghes; and brothers, Donald McIntosh and Michael McIntosh.

Beverly worked as a home health caregiver for many years. She enjoyed visiting the casinos, playing games on her phone, and porch sitting. Beverly was a huge Cubs fan and was often found yelling at the TV when watching their games! She loved shopping at Goodwill. Beverly will be fondly remembered for her deep love of family and friends, treasuring each visit she had with them.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family service will take place at a later date.
