Blake Allen Richie, 2, of LaPorte, died at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at Riley's Children's Hospital in Indianapolis as a result of an accident.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 27, 2004 at Cutler Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Cremation will follow the service.
Blake was born on June 6, 2002 in LaPorte to Ryan J. & Diana L. (Stantz) Richie.
Survivors include his maternal grandparents, Mark & Debbie Stantz, Michigan City; maternal great-grandparents, Tom & Jean Stantz, LaPorte; maternal great-grandfather, Earl Mansfield, LaPorte; maternal great-grandmother, Judy Blake, LaPorte; maternal great-great-grandmothers, Rosie Stantz and Alta Tidey, both of LaPorte; paternal grandparents, Van & Kay Richie, LaPorte; aunts, Briana Stantz, Susan Pigott, Laura Scherer; and uncle, Steve Hartz.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Carl & Isabelle Hartz, Henry & Ethel Richie and Robert Blake.
Memorials may be made to the family of Blake Richie.
