Brenda Kaye (Oliver) Markham

Brenda Kaye Markham, 70, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Millers Merry Manor-New Carlisle.

Brenda was born on July 5, 1953 in Eldorado, IL to James and Lillian (Turner) Oliver.

Surviving Brenda are her 3 daughters, Laura Muncy, Jennifer Blume, and Amanda Mehl; 5 grandchildren, Madison Dabbs, Gwenivere Garman, Nichole Blume, Kylie Gilbert, and James Gilbert; sister, Cheryl Rimbaugh of New Carlisle; brothers, James Oliver of New Carlisle, John Oliver of Waterford, MI, and Daniel Oliver of Abilene, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Oliver; husband, James Markham; and brother, Rodney Oliver.

Brenda spent many years as a telephone operator and most recently worked as a Meijer food court manager.  She most treasured her time with her grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family service was held.
