Bulmaro Garcia Guerra, 62, of Michigan City, IN, passed away on August 9, 2026, at Franciscan Health-Michigan City.

He was born on March 26, 1964, in Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, to Antonio Garcia Morales and Dionicia Guerra.

Bulmaro is survived by his loving wife, Maria Garcia Corona of Michigan City; 3 treasured children, Mario A. Garcia Corona of Michigan City, Elizabeth Garcia Corona of Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico, and Gabriela "Gabby" Garcia Corona of Walkerton; dearly loved grandchildren, Betsabeth, Giovanni, Apkani, Aven, Yamileth, Valeria, Sergio, Osvaldo, and Sofia; 5 brothers; 5 sisters; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters.

Bulmaro worked as a landscaper, who enjoyed and was skilled at designing and installing patios. His love of the outdoors extended beyond his work. Bulmaro enjoyed feeding deer and birds outside his son's home. He would often be found hand feeding any animal, especially during the winter months.

He was a man that deeply loved his family and thoroughly enjoyed being involved in his grandchildren's lives. Bulmaro took pride in teaching them life skills and loved taking them fishing. His grandchildren were everything to him.

Bulmaro loved Pepsi and a good meal. He never turned down whatever meal his wife made for him. Bulmaro was a grateful, loving husband to Maria.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Roque Meraz officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be from 4 - 9 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Bulmaro García Guerra, de 62 años y residente de Michigan City, Indiana, falleció el 9 de agosto de 2026 en el centro médico Franciscan Health-Michigan City.

Nació el 26 de marzo de 1964 en Morelia, Michoacán, México, hijo de Antonio García Morales y Dionicia Guerra.

A Bulmaro le sobreviven su amada esposa, María García Corona, de Michigan City; sus tres preciados hijos: Mario A. García Corona (de Michigan City), Elizabeth García Corona (de Morelia, Michoacán, México) y Gabriela "Gabby" García Corona (de Walkerton); sus muy queridos nietos: Betsabeth, Giovanni, Apkani, Aven, Yamileth, Valeria, Sergio, Osvaldo y Sofía; cinco hermanos; cinco hermanas; así como muchos sobrinos y sobrinas.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y dos hermanas.

Bulmaro trabajó en paisajismo; disfrutaba y tenía gran habilidad para diseñar e instalar patios. Su amor por la naturaleza iba más allá de su trabajo. Le gustaba alimentar a los ciervos y a las aves en la casa de su hijo. A menudo se le veía alimentando animales directamente de su mano, especialmente durante los meses de invierno.

Era un hombre que amaba profundamente a su familia y disfrutaba enormemente participar en la vida de sus nietos. Bulmaro se enorgullecía de enseñarles habilidades para la vida y le encantaba llevarlos a pescar. Sus nietos lo eran todo para él.

A Bulmaro le encantaba la Pepsi y disfrutar de una buena comida; nunca rechazaba los platos que su esposa le preparaba. Fue un esposo agradecido y cariñoso con María.

Se celebrará una misa de exequias el sábado 15 de agosto de 2026 a las 9:30 a. m. en la parroquia Holy Family (iglesia católica St. Joseph), oficiada por el padre Roque Meraz. El sepelio tendrá lugar posteriormente en el cementerio Pine Lake.

El velatorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 14 de agosto de 2026, de 4:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m., en la funeraria y centro de cremación Cutler (Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center).
