Christine Helen (Cox) Moody

Christine Helen Moody, 80, of Rolling Prairie, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at her home with her family by her side

Christine was born in La Porte, IN, on December 21, 1941 to Lester Theodore and Helen Casimira (Siperek) Cox.

Christine is survived by her daughters, Kellie (Rod) Wahl of La Porte and Klorissa "Mollie" Moody of Rolling Prairie;  granddaughter, Kodie (Tyler) Kinney of Mill Creek; longtime companion, Bill Kocher of Winamac; niece, Kim (Chris) Prichard of Brentwood, TN; great nephew, Connor Prichard of Brentwood, TN; step granddaughter, Ashley (Jeff Sorg) Reyes of Rolling Prairie; step great-grandchildren, Austin Sorg and Aidan Reyes, both of Rolling Prairie; as well as cousins, Mark Moryl of La Porte and Eugene Moryl of North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Helen Cox; sister, Rosemary Stegall; former husband and friend, Lawrence Moody; and niece, Debbie Stegall.

Christine was an administrative assistant for 42 years at INDOT.  She enjoyed flower gardening and The Crowhaven Band.  Christine will be fondly remembered as an animal lover.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Zigler officiating.

A time of visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Jane Bernard Animal Adoption Center, 2855 West State Road 2, La Porte, IN 46350 or any animal rescue/adoption center of your choice.
