Donna Lou Dadlow-Wood

Donna Lou Dadlow-Wood, 68, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Donna was born on January 12, 1957, in La Porte, IN, to Donald and Mary (Alderfer) Wood.

Surviving Donna are her 3 children, Elicia (James) Garske of La Porte, Danielle (Jammie) Downs of Mill Creek, and Brandon Dadlow of La Porte; stepdaughter, Kelly Dadlow of La Porte; 8 grandchildren, Noah (Megan Cramm) Dadlow, Brock Mangold, Maiara Feasel, Louis Feasel, Cody (Shelby Lawton) Downs, Hayden (Kat Hughes) Downs, Claira Garske, and Kimberlee Garske; great-granddaughter, Salem Dadlow; 3 sisters, Carol Tanksley of La Porte, Linda Plona of La Porte, and Patricia Emerson of South Bend; 2 brothers, Donnie Wood of West Lafayette and Lloyd (Sue) Wood of Rolling Prairie; loyal friend, Annette (Al) Voorhees; beloved dog, Magnum; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; niece, Lori Ann Dubbs; nephew, Roger Tanksley; and brothers-in-law, Waylen Tanksley and Dave Emerson.

Donna was a legal secretary for Schoof, Szilagyi & Davis for many years. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, bowling, playing softball, Bingo, and visiting the casinos.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will take place from 1 - 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the American Legion-Hamon Gray Post 83, 228 E. Lincolnway, La Porte.
