Drenda Louise Fraley Parsons, age 77, of Hudson Lake, IN passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on July 31, 2026.She was born on March 17, 1949, in Elliott County, Kentucky to Troy Fraley and Vada (Mabry) Fraley-Fieffer.Drenda graduated from Chesterton High School. She married Harold Parsons Jr. on April 20th, 1968, in Shelby, Ohio. Drenda and Harold were married for 33 years and had 3 children.She is survived by her children, Jeff (Kristi) Parsons, Jennifer (Tom) Parsons, and Julia (Chris) Cole; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 4 siblings, Brenda (Gene) Krosschell, Arlene Foster, Theodore Sonny (Cathy) Fieffer, and Shirley (Sam) McMeans; sisters-in-law, Pauline Kegley and Marcy Kegley; many nieces and nephews; and best friends of more than fifty years, Barb Wright and Donna Ashley.

Drenda was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Theodore Fieffer; siblings, Esta Fraley, Derlin Kegley, Roscoe Kegley, Garlin (Judy) Fraley, Tommy Fieffer, Mae Simms; and nephew, Joshua Lawson.

She loved spending time with her sister on the phone, praising the Lord with her church family, reading, and finding treasures at Goodwill. Above all else, Drenda loved "making memories" with her children and grandchildren.A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. (CST) on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Mario Bustos officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Chapel Cemetery, New Carlisle.A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. (CST) Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10 a.m. (CST) until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to the family c/o Jennifer Parsons, 2900 Monroe Street, La Porte, IN 46350 or to the donor's choice.Condolences may be shared with the family on www.cutlercares.com.
