Edward Morris Bakwin, 90, of La Porte, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at IU Health La Porte Hospital.
Edward was born in New York, NY, on May 13, 1928 to Harry and Ruth Mae (Morris) Bakwin.
Surviving are daughter, Elizabeth Bakwin of Chicago; granddaughters, Anna and Natalie Bakwin of Chicago; sister, Barbara Rosenthal of New York, NY; brother, Michael Bakwin of Suffolk, VA; and companion, Mary Lou Karth of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Selch.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
