Edward Ray Jacobs Jr.

Edward "Eddie" Ray Jacobs Jr., 58, of North Judson, IN, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at Northwest Health La Porte.

He was born on August 14, 1967, in Knox, IN, to Edward Jacobs and Carolyn (Vires) Jacobs-Haskins.

Eddie is survived by his mother, Carolyn Jacobs-Haskins of North Judson; brothers, Jeffrey L. Jacobs, Sr. of North Judson and Brandon Jacobs of Knox; niece, Joanne F. Neeley of North Judson; special niece, Jena M. Jacobs of North Judson; nephew, Jeffrey L. Jacobs, Jr. of North Judson; and special friend, Julie A. Royce of North Judson.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Rev Leonard (Lydia) B. Jacobs and Tilden (Nanabell) Vires.

Eddie worked as a tool and die maker for many years. He enjoyed fishing, antiquing, mushroom hunting, and berry picking. Eddie was always willing to help a friend or family member needing his help. Eddie will be fondly remembered for how he generously offered his time and talents to assist his mother with various tasks.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family service will take place at a later date.
