Elizabeth H. Vollrath, 93, Bethlehem, formerly of LaPorte, died Saturday (April 26, 2003) at Blough Health Care Center, Bethlehem.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church, LaPorte, with the Rev. Karl Koch officiating. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery.
Mrs. Vollrath was born in 1910, in Chicago, to John and Elizabeth (Kollot) Stieber. On Oct., 28, 1933, in Chicago, she married Clarence W. Vollrath, who died March 6, 1970.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathleen E. Vollrath, Bethlehem; one sister, Anna Koran, Chicago; and one brother, Michael Stieber, Chicago.
Mrs. Vollrath had worked at Teledyne Casting Service as a bookkeeper, retiring in 1977.
She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, where she sang in the choir. She belonged to the Ladies Aid and to St. John's Lutheran Church where she sang in the Walther League Chorus and was a member to Circle 3
