Fairia Coldiron, 86, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Grand Haven, Michigan, on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
Fairia was born on October 7, 1939, in Salyersville, Kentucky, to Buck and Cassie (Wireman) Lafferty.
On February 3, 1962, she was joined in holy matrimony to Pastor Paul E. Coldiron, who preceded her in death on December 3, 2016.
Surviving are her children, Paula (Darryl) Sitek of Three Rivers, MI, Patty (JC) Sikora of Grand Haven, MI, and Phillip (Tonya) Coldiron of Largo, FL; five grandchildren, Pauline (Steven) Price, Scott Elkins, Jacob Beehler, Patrick (Cheyenne) Beehler, and Tiffany Sikora; and eight great-grandchildren, Madison, Malorie, Ameliya, Chayson, Indica, Haylee, Payton, and Harper. She is also survived by her siblings Nick Lafferty, Martha Castle, and Parthenia Wells.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 54 years, and a son-in-law, James Beehler.
Fairia loved the Lord and was deeply devoted to her family. She faithfully served by her husband's side for over 30 years at New Hope Baptist Chapel in La Porte, Indiana, where her gentle spirit and steadfast faith touched many lives.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte, Indiana. Pastor John White will officiate the burial service, which will follow at Salem Cemetery.
