Gabriel "Gabe" Elijah Page

Gabriel "Gabe" Elijah Page, 29, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, at I.U. Health University Hospital in Indianapolis following a serious illness.

Gabriel was born on June 6, 1997 in La Porte, IN.

Surviving are his parents, Heather and Kevin Stephens of La Porte; brother, Grant Stephens of La Porte; grandparents, Pat and Phil Kaiser of Westville and Cathie Stephens of South Carolina; aunts, Christi (Bill) Poag of New Palestine and Lisa (Mark) Bohle of Westville; uncles, Brian (Kristi) Pease of Aurora, IL, Jason (Sam) Kaiser, Kyle (Lisa Messman) Kaiser, Travis (Chiann) Kaiser, all of Wanatah, and Dustin (Randi) Kaiser of Westville; a very special great-uncle, Scott Arndt of La Porte; and cousins, Emma, Lillie, Ali, Marky, Ryan and Tonio.

He was preceded in death by 3 grandfathers, Russell Page, Michael Pease and Mark Stephens.

Gabe proudly served his country in the Army National Guard. In his short time here on earth, he worked at Indiana State Prison as a Correctional Officer, the LaPorte County Sheriff's Office, and for a private security company. Gabe enjoyed going to the gun range, playing bags and soccer, lake activities, hanging out at the park with his dog, Sox, and spending time with his loved ones.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

A time of visitation will be held from 3 p.m. on Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery on a later date.
