Geraldine "Gerrie" Allen

Geraldine "Gerrie" Allen, 78, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, at Northwest Health-La Porte.

She was born on January 23, 1948, in Henderson, KY, to Cletus Parrish and Virginia (Mortis) Craddock.

Gerrie is survived by her 2 children, Tommy Sunn and Tracy Sunn, both of La Porte; stepsons, Michael Allen and Kelly Allen, both of La Porte; grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Justin, Devon, Brandon (Layne), Madelynn, and Landin; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Ryan, and Daxton; half-brother, Ricky (Paula) Craddock of Henderson, KY; and half-sister, Lisa (Greg) Armstrong of Henderson, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Roger Sunn.

Gerrie worked in management for most of her working career. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, and visiting the local casinos. Most importantly, Gerrie cherished the time with her family.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held from 1 - 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
