Henrietta "Heni" Gertrude Reynolds

Henrietta "Heni" Gertrude Reynolds, 85, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

She was born on February 13, 1941, in Cook Co., IL, to Henry and Anna Marie (Clausing) Bonnema.

On March 19, 1965, in South Holland, IL, she married George Reynolds who preceded her in death. Surviving Heni are her son, Stephen (Sang) Reynolds of Atlanta, GA; 5 grandchildren, Isaiah, Zara, Jeremiah, Josiah, and Jonathan Reynolds, all of GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Reynolds; brothers, Wilbur Roy (Betty) Bonnema and Calvin Bonnema; and sister, Phyllis (Abe) Willems.

Heni loved expressing herself through her art, but she loved her Lord Jesus most of all and is resting in His presence now.

She was a member of La Porte Missionary Church.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Carl Galloway officiating. Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 9, 2026, at Chapel Hill Gardens South, Oak Lawn, IL.

A time of visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
