Hyman Rodrigues Texeira, 74, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at St. Anthony's Memorial Health Center in Michigan City, IN.
Hyman was born on June 23, 1942 in Honolulu, HI, to Frank and Hattie (Revera) Texeira.
On February 14, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada, he married Geradine who preceded him in death. Also surviving are his beloved children, Breanna, Dianna and Michael; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank; 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and two sisters, Rosita and Laura.
Hyman was a retired air conditioner technician. His nickname was "Pineapple" which he was very proud of since he was born in Hawaii.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family service will take place in Hawaii at a later date.
