James was the son of the late Herman E. & Martha (Lilly) Noel.
He was married on September 16, 1972 to Mary D. Tener who preceded him in death on November 16, 2005.
Bob worked as a supervisor at American Rubber, was Co-Owner in the family Upholstery business. He most enjoyed his employment working with the young men and women at Boys Town while living in Omaha.
