Janet Marie Beehler, 60, of Mill Creek, Indiana, died at 6:45 a.m. Monday, February 21, 2005 at her home.
A private family service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Harris officiating. A private family visitation will be held on Wednesday. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery.
Janet was born May 9, 1944, in LaPorte County to Harry H. & Martha (Hartman) Starkey. She was married for 44 years to Gerald A. Beehler, who survives.
Also surviving are daughters, Judith (Harry) Hildebrand and Joyce (Brian) Becker, both of LaPorte; son James (Paula) Beehler of LaPorte; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brothers Harry (Darlene) Starkey of Kewanee, IL and John (Barbara) Starkey of Kingsbury, IN; and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Janet was a homemaker and a member of Salem Chapel United Methodist Church. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to Riley Children's Hospital.
