Julie Ann Kampf, 66, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Julie was born on February 11, 1959, in La Porte, IN, to Robert and Faye (Grassmeyer) Steigely.
On July 24, 2004, in La Porte, IN, she married David Paul Kampf, who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Brandi (Alan) Glanders of La Porte; 2 grandsons, Jaxson and Kane Glanders of La Porte; siblings, Vicki Travis, Russel Steigely, Guy Steigely, Joyce Christenson, and Laurie Parsons; nieces and nephews, Dylan Travis, Allison Burke, Sara Kling, Rachel Steigely, Cristina Martian, Darcie Simpkins, Samantha Christenson, Tiffany Parsons, Micheal Parsons, and Robert Rivera; uncle, Dale Grassmeyer of Tulsa, OK; and aunt, Pam Lang of La Porte.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mark Steigely.
Julie worked as a Legal Clerk for the Department of Children's Services. She enjoyed reading, music particularly live music, baseball especially the Cubs, and spending time with her familiy, friends and grandsons.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor John Kampf officiating.
A time of visitation will be held from 10 a.m until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Patton Cemetery on a later date.
