Katheryn Audrey Jones

Katheryn Audrey Jones, 74, of Union Mills, IN, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Northwest Health-La Porte.

Katheryn was born on November 9, 1951, in Bradford, AR, to Orlan and Mary (VanPelt) Piker.

On August 1, 1986, in Charleston, MO, she married George W. Jones who survives. Also surviving are her sons, Michael (Becky) Jackson of Sullivan, IN, Bryan Jackson of VanAlstyne, TX, and Steven (Jennifer) Jackson of VanAlstyne, TX; daughters, Wendy (Kirt) Steele of Union Mills and Holly Hanrath of La Porte; 24 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 6 sisters; 3 brothers; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Chuck and Herbert; sister, Lilly; and grandson, Sean Jackson.

Katheryn was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, decorating cakes, sewing, completing crossword puzzles, reading and playing solitaire. She enjoyed listening to country and gospel music, especially attending live concerts of such. Most importantly, she loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Katheryn treasured time spent with family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation will take place following the service.
