Kellie Marie Moody Wahl

Kellie Marie Moody Wahl, 59, of La Porte, Indiana, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024.

Kellie was born in La Porte, IN, on September 5, 1964 to Lawrence "Larry" and Christine (Cox) Moody.

On November 14, 2020, at their home in La Porte, she married Rodney "Dude", who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Kodie (Tyler) Kinney of Rolling Prairie; sister, Klorissa "Mollie" Moody of Rolling Prairie; brother, Koby (Carrie) Moody of La Porte; half daughter, Ashley (Jeff Sorg) Reyes of Rolling Prairie; step-brother, Kristopher (Stacey) Moody of Rolling Prairie; sister-in-law, Rhonda Henderson of Michigan City; brother-in-law, John (Luann) Wahl of Michigan City; cousins, Mark Moryl of La Porte and Kim (Chris) Prichard of Brentwood, TN; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepson, Rodney Brooks Wahl.

Kellie worked in the office at Aero Metals for 40+ years.

She loved horses and had a special bond with Rosie. Kellie cherished the countless hours spent at the 4-H Fairgrounds with her daughter, Kodie. She enjoyed camping and her many trail rides with her MTR Girls on their annual trips.

Kellie also enjoyed motorcycle rides with the love of her life, "Dude". Together, they enjoyed trips to Sturgis and Daytona Beach, but also enjoyed the random rides where the road was simply their only destination.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Jeff Zigler officiating.

A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
