Kenneth Powell, 80, of Michigan City, Indiana and formerly of LaPorte died at 5:08 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2006 at The Arbors of Michigan City.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, at Cutler Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Smith officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery.
Ken was born December 10, 1925, in Kansas to Roy & Bessie (Madison) Powell. On November 26, 1980, he married Susie Koch, who survives.
Also surviving is a brother, Al Powell of LaPorte.
His parents and a sister preceded him in death.
Ken had worked as a coal miner.
