Lori Ann Bretzinger Perrin Swank

Lori Ann Bretzinger Perrin Swank, 66, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Northwest Health-La Porte.

Lori was born on November 25, 1958, in La Porte, IN, to Louis and Doris (Blad) Cady.

On September 20, 2025, at Harvest Time Church of God, Michigan City, she married Rodney Swank who survives. Also surviving are her 3 daughters, Melanie (Jason) McClurg of Elkhart, Jill Bretzinger of Elkhart, Terri (Nicholas) Jobin of Nappanee; 4 grandchildren, Hunter Watson, Rowyn McClurg, Nora McClurg and Everett Jobin; mother, Doris Ross of Michigan City; siblings Tammy Yaro, Kendi (Richard) Coutant, Dale (Cathy) Cady, Kyra Dockter, Juli (Sean) Ryan, Jason (Shelly) Cady and David (Krissy) Cady; father of Terri, Tim Perrin; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and the father of Jill and Melanie, Clarence Bretzinger.

Lori was a Registered Nurse at La Porte Hospital, Elkhart General Hospital, and Center for Hospice for 40 years. She was a member of Harvest Time Church of God. Lori enjoyed baking, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on November 22, 2025, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

A time of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Cremation will take place following the service.
