Lorraine Jayne Marsch, 80, of 408 Fox Street, died Saturday, June 19, 2004 at LaPorte Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Hadley officiating. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place.
Niche placement will take place at a later time at Swan Lake Mem-orial Gardens, Michigan City.
Lorraine was born July 5, 1923, in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Frank Arley & Emma W. (Benke) Smith. On June 25, 1944, in Rock-ford, IL, she married Vernon Joseph Marsch, who preceded her in death October 27, 1999.
Survivors include daughters, Deborah (Sam) Cardinale and Cindy (Gene) Harper, both of La-Porte; grandsons, Matthew (Julie) Cardinale and Anthony Cardinale; brother, Robert M. (Corinne) Smith, LaPorte; and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mildred.
She had retired from the Engin-eering and Drafting Department of Illinois Bell Telephone. She was a member of Telephone Company Pioneers.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor?s choice.
