Louise Huge, 89, of LaPorte, Indiana, passed away at 3:20 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2007 at Fountainview Terrace Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 16, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Rev. David Young officiating. Visitation will be on Monday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Cutler Funeral Home and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 until the time of the service. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
Louise was born December 13, 1917 in LaPorte to the late Edward & Catherine (Fenker) Huge.
Surviving are sisters Marie Huge and Margaret E. Nowak, both of LaPorte and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sister Doris Winn and brothers Edward & Robert Huge preceded her in death.
Louise had worked at Ove Gnatt in LaPorte before moving to Wabash, Indiana. In Wabash, she worked for the A.F. Billings Co. as a designer and executive secretary until 1978. Then she moved back to LaPorte.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she was involved in many church activities. She was also a charter member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Wabash.
