Louise was married to Willard F. Kuhn who preceded her in death in 1998.
She was a former Teacher for the LaPorte Community School Corporation for 17 years. She was a former member of LaPorte Hospital Auxillary, Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher at St. paul United Church of Christ, and Meals on Wheels. She earned a Bachelor Degree at Valparaiso University and was one of the first women to earn a Masters Degree from Notre Dame.
