Marlyce Darlene Seidelman, 75, of Mulberry, passed away on September 24th, 2024.
The world was brightened when she was born on June 28th, 1949, to Edward and Myrtle "Jean" Schoonover in Rochester, MI. She married Bruce John Seidelman on October 2, 1971, and they shared a loving marriage of 47 years until his passing in 2019. She and Bruce raised their family primarily in Westville, Indiana.
Marlyce was a kind-hearted and humble woman who spent her life caring for others. These attributes lead her to a long and fulfilling career as a CNA for over 30 years.
In her younger years, she and her husband loved to travel, vacation, and go camping with their family. She was very talented at sewing, and she often gifted family and friends with clothing, pajamas, and the coziest blankets that she would make. Marlyce enjoyed corresponding with her many pen pals, most of which, she had been in touch with since she was a teenager. She loved animals and had many dogs in her lifetime but her cat, Itty Bitty, always held a special place in her heart. Marlyce loved to be surrounded by the beauty of plants and flowers, and she kept many in her home. She was incredibly proud of her family and loved spending as much time as she could with them by attending sporting events, family get-togethers, and playing board games with her grandkids.
She is survived and adored by her children, Renee (Dave) Bromley, Richard (Erica) Seidelman, Wesley Seidelman, Anita (Christopher) Wright, and Marisa (John) Dungan; as well as her grandchildren, David (Alysa) Bromley, Bryce (Josh) Salrin, Lincoln Seidelman, Hudson Seidelman, Neidra Wright, Berlin Wright, Sam Seidelman, Jaylen Seidelman, Sydney Seidelman, and Lauren (Zach) Niceley; and her great grandchildren, Memphis and Aspen Bromley. She is also survived by her beloved sisters, Myrna Morrissey and Verndalene "Ashley" Freeman, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bruce, who affectionately referred to her as "Lambsie", as well as her mother, father and her brother, Orville.
