Michael "Mikie" Frank Calderone

Michael "Mikie" Frank Calderone, 47, of Michigan City, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Franciscan Health-Michigan City.

Mikie was born on November 19, 1977, in Chicago, IL, to Ignatius and Nancy (Dabkovich) Calderone.

Surviving are his sister, Denean Calderone of Michigan City; brother, Ignatius Calderone of KY; nephews, John O'Banion of Michigan City, Connor O'Banion of Fish Lake, and Mark Hopp of IL; nieces, Angela La Joie of IL and Ginamarie Crain of IL; as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews, and cherished friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kelly Hopp.

Mikie was a treasured brother and friend, who enjoyed NASCAR and baseball.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
