Michael James Swim, 70, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021.
Michael was born on December 31, 1950 in Michigan City, to Howard and Eleanor (Denow) Swim.
On September 3, 1975, he married Cindy Wimmer, who survives. Also surviving are his sister Sue (Doug) Handlen; sister-in-law, Jenny (Bert) Dilworch; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as several foster children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Thomas Swim; and brother, Roger Swim.
Michael retired from Weil McLain. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in April of 1976.
Cremation has taken place. Michael is at rest in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens, Michigan City.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will take place from 1 - 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1113 Terrace Acres Parkway, Michigan City, IN.
