Michelle Therese (Stonewall) Stonewall

Michelle Therese Stonewall, 45, of La Porte, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Northwest Health - La Porte.

Michelle was born on March 12, 1977 in Rockford, IL, to Michael Peter and Loretta Kay (Dawson) Stonewall.

Surviving Michelle are her parents, Michael and Loretta Stonewall of La Porte; sister, Nicole Stonewall of La Porte; "bestest" friend, Patricia "Pat" Day of La Porte; and her kitty, Dusty.

She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Amy Stonewall, and grandparents, Hoyt and Hazel Dawson and William and Rosel Stonewall.

Michelle was a 1998 LPHS graduate.  She worked at Michiana Resources.  Michelle enjoyed watching scary movies and making crafts.  She proudly participated in the Illinois Special Olympics and was the first at Windsor Elementary in Loves Park, IL to win a Gold Medal.

A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
