Mildren was the daughter of the late J. Anton & Alida E. (Lindgren) Nelson.
She was married on July 3, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Melvin R. Johnson who preceded her in death on April 27, 1996.
Mildred was a Bookkeeper for the Brandt Company in Chicago, IL.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in LaPorte, IN., Volunteer at the LaPorte Hospital Since 1985, and the LaPorte Travel and Camera Club. She attended Business School in Chicago, IL for two years and she tool voice lessons at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL.
