Moarine Logwood, 65 years old of LaPorte, IN, died Monday, June 20, 2011 in Community Hospital in Munster, IN.
She was born March 3, 1946 in Salyersville, KY., Daughter of John & Jessie (Manns) Back.
Moarine was a retired fork lift driver for Boise/ Jefferson Smirfit for 24 years and she owned a cleaning business.
She was married on July 7, 1970 in Elkton, Maryland to John "Buster" Logwood who survives.
Also surviving are her son: Gautama "Goot" (Carrie) Logwood of LaPorte; daughter: Linda (Charles) Miller in LaPorte; grandchildren: Tyler & Steven Norris, Moarine (Ryan) Fick, Nerissa Miller; great grandchildren: Braxton Hunsley, Pagie Fick; and sisters: Marggie Salyers of Salyersville, KY and Sherry Mullins of Salyersville, KY; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Ruby Brown and Madge Cook; and a brother, Gratus Back.
There will be a time of visitation with the family on Friday, June 24, 2011 from 4-6 PM at Cutler Funeral Home.
