Patricia Meinhard

Patricia Meinhard, 82 years old of La Porte, IN, was welcomed by Jesus to her Heavenly Home Sunday, November 28, 2010 at LaPorte Hospital .

She was born January 5, 1928 in Auroa, Illinois Daughter of the late Chester and Ruth (Peterson) Lindgren

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Bible Study Group, and was an active volunteer in many church activities. La Porte Service League, Meals on Wheels Volunteer & La Porte Hospital Volunteer.

She was married on Dec. 5, 1952 in Geneva, Illinois to William J. Meinhard who survives.

Also surviving are her children; David (Kathy) Meinhard of Brunswick, GA., Stephan (Fran) Meinhard of Crown Point, IN., Penny (Casey) Meyer of LaPorte, and Jeff (Gwen) Meinhard of LaPorte, son-in-law; Hugh Smith of LaPorte, 15 grandchildren; Derek & Judd Meinhard, Kristin Otter, Carrye Blake, Bill, Emily & Mike Smith, & Robin Blosser, Tonya Graham, Sarah Belle Meyer, Jacob, Kyle, & Sam Meyer, Abbi & Lydia Meinhard. 4 great grandchildren; Shelby, Joey, Allie, Reed & Lilly

She was preceded in death by her precious grandson, Tobias, & beloved daughter, Nancy Smith, Sister, Nancy Belanger

Friends will be received Friday, December 3 at the at the Cutler Funeral Home from 4-7:00 PM

Services will be held at Frist United Methodist Church 10:00 AM Saturday, December 4, 2010 with Rev. Evan Lash officiating.
