Patricia "Patti" Lee Jones

Patricia "Patti" Lee Jones, 89, of Madisonville, TN, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2026, at her home.

She was born on February 25, 1937, in Centerville, MI, to Myrl and Doris (Hasbrouck) Jacobs.

On September 11, 1954, in St. Paul's Church, La Porte, she married Jack Jones Sr., who preceded her in death October 25, 2001. Patti is survived by her daughter, Roxann (Jamie) Diedrich of Madisonville, TN; grandchildren, Leslie (Suzy) Collins of Columbus, OH and Donovan Diedrich of South Bend; sister-in-law, Phyllis Jacobs of Gatesville, TX; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband; sons, Dale A. Jones and Jack Jones, Jr.; and brother, Jerald Jacobs.

Patti held various jobs during her time in La Porte, including Miligan's Gifts, Governor's Palace, Levines, and Hilbish Drugs, but her most memorable position was held at Eiselman's Dairy, where she would waitress on her lunch hour from school. She retired from T.P. Orthodontics, where she was a technician and also involved in sales.

She was a past District Director for the Fraternal Order of Eagles as well as President of Auxiliary 2439. Patti was also a past President of the La Porte Democratic Club. She was an avid Raggedy Ann collector.

Patti selflessly gave of her time. She held many positions within the PTA's of her children's school, was a La Porte Hospital Pink Lady volunteer, and served her church congregation at St. Paul U.C.C, where she was a member. Patti also expressed her compassion to others through being a caregiver to many.

Cremation has taken place in Tennessee.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Sauktown Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held from 4 - 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
