Phyllis Sue Laramore

Sue Laramore, 84, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at her home, with her husband by her side.

Sue was born on January 3, 1942, in La Porte, IN, to Paul and Evelyn (Holmquist) Glickauf.

On December 25, 1979, in La Porte, IN, she married John who survives. Also surviving are her beloved grandson, Jordan Hull of La Porte; beloved granddaughter, Garbrielle of La Porte; mother of her grandchildren, Jamie Hull of La Porte; treasured friend and sister in Christ, Martha Gaulrapp of Moline, IL; and additional family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sue was a homemaker and a freelance writer. She enjoyed writing, editing, reading, traveling, and teaching French at Boston Middle School. Sue was passionate about France and loved everything about it, especially the south of France.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family service will take place at a later date.
