Robert Allerton

Robert "Uncle Rotten" Marion Allerton II, 58, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, surrounded by those who love him.

Robert was born on April 7, 1966, in Benton Harbor, MI, to Robert and Patricia (Thorton) Allerton.

Surviving Robert are his daughter, Darlana Allerton of New Orleans, LA; sisters, Avalon Esposito of Columbus, OH, Julie Frobeter of Niles, MI, and Melissa Smith of La Porte; special friend, Geraldine Allen of La Porte; niece Margaret Smith; nephews, Zachary and Caleb Smith; as well as many great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert worked many years in construction. Outside of work, he enjoyed gardening. Robert enjoyed music and had great compassion towards animals.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
