Robert "Bob" Dewey Bunton

Robert "Bob" Dewey Bunton, 62, of La Porte, IN, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Northwest Health-Porter.

Bob was born on January 20, 1963, in La Porte, IN, to James Bunton and Barbara (Zook) Martin.

On July 4, 2004, in Las Vegas, NV, he married Barbara Womack who survives. Also surviving are his 2 sons, Robert Bunton of La Porte and Nicholas Bunton of La Porte; stepdaughter, Jodie (Greg) Antisdel of La Porte; stepson, Andrew (Ashley) Kraus of Norfolk, VA; 2 grandchildren; sister, Julie (Jim) Maguire of Spring City, TN; brother, Daniel Martin of Maynardville, TN; cat, Sam; kitten, Smoky; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by parents, James Bunton and Barbara (Zook) Martin.

Bob worked as a driver for IMI, formerly known as Tazco. He enjoyed caring for his lawn, riding his motorcycle, and interacting with his cat and kitten. Most importantly, Robert loved spending time with his family.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
