Robert John Czubik

Robert "Bob" John Czubik, 79, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Northwest Health La Porte.

Bob was born on March 7, 1947, in Gary, IN, to Albert and Magdalene Czubik.

On August 26, 2006, in La Porte, IN, he married Sally Behler who survives. Also surviving are his daughter, Victoria (Mark) Butler of Crown Point; 10 grandchildren, Patton Butler, Christopher Jones, Jacob and Timothy Strong, and Kacie, Kaylie, Wyatt, Elijiah, Amelia, and Evelyn Learman; stepchildren, Donica Tschopp of Michigan City, F. Joseph Learman of Portage, and Matthew Learman of San Pierre; sisters-in-law, Wynn Ann Czubik of Valparaiso and Anamarie (Jeff) Fedder of Chesterton; nieces, Allison (Adam) Steiger of St. Louis and Katherine (Donovan) Estridge of Valparaiso; great-niece, Fiona; and great-nephews, Hunter and Lucas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alberta Czubik; and brother, Richard Czubik.

Bob held various positions at US Steel, where he worked until his retirement. He was a member of Glen Park Civic Club. Bob enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family, which was his top priority.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
