Roger "Buck" Harley was married on April 4, 1992 in LaPorte, IN to Sandra J. Spickard who survives.
Buck worked for Howmet Corp. and was a Marine Corps Recruiter in Iowa and Hawaii. He belonged to the Astronomy Club of West Lafayette, IN. where he donated a very large telescope, built computers and many things in wood for his home, played the guitar, rebuilt cars & trucks and loved and took in many stray animals. He graduated from Union Twp. Schools, was a Sgt. in the US Marine Corps during Vietnam and received the Purple Heart, Vietnam Service & Campaign Medals, Presidential Unit Commendation, Combat Action Ribbon, VietnamMeritorious Unit Commendation with Palm, Gallantry Cross, Navy Unit Commendation, & Letter of Commendation.
Buck was preceded in death by his Mother: Mary (Betto) Harley, 2 Brothers: Bill & Don and his Grandparents
