Ronald William Crane, 91, of La Porte, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at La Porte Hospital and Health Services.
Ronald was born on January 4, 1929 in Newark, OH, to William B. and Ethel J. (Sigler) Crane.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Donna Schroeder-Crane; daughter, Belinda Branstool; sons, Michael (Lois) Crane and Eric (Sheila ) Schroeder; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Crane; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents; sister, Liz Hoover; and son-in-law, Paul Branstool.
Ronald was a proud member of the U.S. Navy, serving during WWII aboard the U.S.S. Everett F. Larson. He retired from Sears Manufacturing. Ronald enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
A Private Family Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held at Pine Lake Cemetery.
