Susan Kay Dyer, lovingly known as "Q," passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. She was born on September 29, 1946, and made her home at 1209 I Street with her devoted niece and nephew, Laura and George Korepanow.
Susan's life was a testament to love, faith, and joy. Though she became disabled at a very young age due to scarlet fever, she never allowed that to define her. Her radiant smile and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She had a heart that loved deeply-especially her Lord and Savior, Jesus.
Susan found joy in the simple things that made life beautiful. She loved working in her circle books, carefully circling every single letter, coloring with bright enthusiasm, and watching the world around her with curiosity and peace.
She is survived by her sisters, Donna Tibbs, Carol Pugh, and Shirley Pysh; her brother, James Dyer; as well as many nieces, nephews, and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Dyer and Alice (Sheetz) Dyer.
Susan's life reminds us that love knows no limits, and joy can shine through any circumstance. Her smile and gentle presence will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
