Teresa Kay Walker

Teresa Kay Walker, 75, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

Teresa was born on August 9, 1950, in Beardstown, IL, to Orville and Winifred (Jones) Smith.

She married Richard Ernie Walker who preceded her in death on March 13, 2025. Surviving Teresa are her daughter, Peggy (Mathew Charlson) Walker of La Porte; 2 stepchildren, Tracy (Brian) Palen of La Porte and David (Cyndi) Walker of La Porte; granddaughter, Tiffany (Thomas Callahan) Walker of La Porte; 4 great-grandchildren, Anastasia Walker, Vanesssa Osborne, Brandan Bodmer, and Deven Bodmer; great, great-granddaughter, Elana Walker-Bowerson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and grandson, Michael Miller.

Teresa was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, rolling dice, and playing cards.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. Burial will take place at Door Village Cemetery at a later date.
