Thelma Marriott, 91, of LaPorte, Indiana, died at 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, at Cutler Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.
Thelma was born March 19, 1915, in LaPorte to the late Henry & Bertha (Groehler) Brown. On November 25, 1939, in Michigan City, IN, she married Edward A. Marriott, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughter Diane (Ed) Marriott-Mullin of LaPorte; granddaughter Shalon (Ed) Perez of Lafayette, IN; grandsons Brennan and Quentin Perez; and brother-in-law Herbert Tews of Michigan City.
A brother, Keene Brown and a sister, Bernice Tews
Thelma had worked for 25 years at the LaPorte Savings Bank before retiring. She enjoyed reading and working on crossword puzzles.
Memorials may be made to the Jehovah's Witnesses LaPorte Kingdom Hall or the LaPorte Chapter of PAF.
