Tracy Jean Mooers-Younce

Tracy Jean Mooers-Younce, 76, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, August 27, 2026.

Tracy was born on September 11, 1949, in St. Paul, MN, to Lee and Delta (Larson) Mooers.

On August 22, 1987, in Valparaiso, IN, she married David Jon Younce who survives. Her daughter, Janisse Griffin of McMinnville, Oregon also survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Tracy had a Doctorate in Sociology. She taught all over the world, but before retiring in 2001, she taught at Ivy Tech in South Bend. Tracy enjoyed helping others and laughing.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family service will take place at a later date.
