Vernelle Jean Bush, 76, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Northwest Health - La Porte.
Vernelle was born on February 12, 1947 in Chicago, IL, to Warren and Jean (Warren) Bush.
Surviving Vernelle are her brother, Lloyd (Bertha) Bush of Saint Joseph, MI; and nephew, Tim Bush of Saint Joseph, MI.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and nephew, John Bush.
Vernelle was a financial consultant for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and Fellowship Center, where she worked as a financial coordinator. Vernelle enjoyed attending community concerts.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Baptist Church and Fellowship Center, 908 Jefferson Ave., La Porte, IN 46350.
