Connie Ann Skinner

Connie Ann Skinner, 94, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 23, 2021.

Connie was born in Fennville, MI, on May 19, 1927 to Edward and Anna (Schultz) Felker.

On August 10, 1946 in Allegan, Michigan, she married Norman Skinner who preceded her in death.  Surviving are her children, Kirk Skinner and Sally Read, both of La Porte; 4 grandchildren, Shawn, Melinda, Ashley, and Brittany (Levi); and 4 great-grandchildren, Kara, Tyler, Lincoln, and Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Mark Skinner; and grandsons, Sean and Todd.

Connie retired from Whirlpool Corporation in 1989 after 20 years of service. She also worked in Civil Service in Chicago.  Connie enjoyed camping, crocheting and making ceramics.  She and her husband traveled across the US in their fifth wheel.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12 pm on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Bob Vale officiating.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.  Cremation will follow the service.  Burial will take place later at Pine Lake Cemetery.
