Glenn was born in La Porte, IN, on January 6, 1960 to Glenn Earl and Kay (Travis) Oman.

On May 21, 1983 in Valparaiso, IN, he married Janet Vazquez, who survives.  Also surviving are his children, Brad Oman and Kaelyn Oman of LaPorte; brother, Geoff Sellers; and countless siblings, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws from the Oman, Sellers, Pauff, Snow, Hughes, and Jones families.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gregg Oman.

Glenn held various positions throughout his 34-year tenure at Jaeger-Unitek Sealing Solutions, Inc.  He was a member of Journey Church, where he served the congregation as Treasurer, and he also strengthened his faith through Fight Club Men’s Ministries.

In college, Glenn served as President and Treasurer of Delta Theta Phi at Valparaiso University, where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.  Later in life, he earned a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from Purdue University.

Glenn also served as a YMCA recreational sports coach, KVA coach, and he was a proud La  Porte High School Marching Band, Winter Guard and Speech & Debate parent.

He enjoyed reading, fishing, golfing, bowling, grilling, Diet Pepsi, a nice pair of Skechers shoes, and a good baseball cap.  Glenn was also a die-hard Chicago White Sox fan, and an undercover karaoke star, where his signature song was “Ice Cream Man” by Van Halen.

Glenn spent every waking minute loving and supporting his family and never stopped cracking classic Dad jokes to make everyone roll their eyes and laugh.  He was always willing to help those in need with a smile on his face.
