Nicholas Rade Bubalo, 51, of La Porte, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at his home.
Nick was born on December 20, 1968 in Chicago, IL, to Michael R. and Sharon M. (Charnote) Bubalo.
Surviving Nick are his son, Michael (Alexis) Bubalo of La Porte; future grandson, Nicholas Bubalo (due to arrive November 2nd); father, Michael of La Porte; siblings, James (Kathy) Pedretti of La Porte, Michael Pedretti of La Porte, Lisa (Marc) Schoof of La Porte, and John Bubalo of La Porte; longtime companion, Allison Klement of La Porte; life-long buddy, Tony Bernacchi of La Porte; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Nicholas was a proud Union Iron Worker of Local 395. A Slicer, Nick graduated from La Porte High School in 1987. He enjoyed the great outdoors, nature, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends. Nick was also an avid Chicago Bears, Blackhawks, and Cubs fan.
Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
A time of visitation will be held from 12 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
Due to the recent Governor's Order, anyone attending the visitation and/or service is required to wear a mask.
